Rural Vermont is an unsuspecting place for a tattoo artist to live, however; I have been able to work successfully in both Montpelier and Burlington. As a child I was always into exploring diverse mediums of art. Growing up in California, I was exposed to a lot of tattoo art. Ironically enough, it wasn't until I moved to Vermont that I had the opportunity to become an apprentice in the tattoo industry. I jumped into tattooing full force while keeping my job at the restaurant across the street. I learned all I could about becoming not only a technically sound tattooist, but honing my skills on this particular art style and creating it on an original type of canvas, skin. I eventually quit working at the restaurant and started tattooing full time. I was amazed at how many people in Vermont were interested in either getting their first tattoo, or having an old one reworked.

At this point I have an large group of clients who are interested in custom pieces and flash. I strive to stay open to the diverse requests of my clients and I keep a high level of enthusiasm for what ever comes my way. It's a great feeling to have a job where I am doing something I love while continuously growing and expanding. I appreciate every one of my clients for making it possible for me to do what I do.
